These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Player”, “You”) and the operators of the Age of Wonders 4 platform (“We”, “Our”, “Developer”). They govern your access to and interaction with all associated services, websites, mobile applications, in-game systems, downloadable content, expansions, online communities, and any additional features or services provided under the Age of Wonders 4 name.
By registering an account, browsing content, participating in in-game events, or otherwise using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease access and refrain from using any part of the platform. Continued participation after modifications or updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised version.
All users are further required to comply with applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and guidelines when interacting with the platform. In the event of conflict between these Terms and external legislation, applicable laws shall prevail without invalidating the remaining provisions of this agreement.
Access to Age of Wonders 4 is restricted to individuals who are at least 13 years old or meet the minimum age requirements defined by their jurisdiction. Users under the age of 18 must obtain verified parental or guardian consent before registration. The Developer reserves the right to request proof of age and/or consent at any point.
You are fully responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account. Sharing login details, knowingly or unknowingly, may result in suspension. You agree to promptly notify the Developer of any unauthorized use, attempted breach, or compromise of your account. We disclaim liability for damages or losses caused by failure to secure your login information.
All registration data provided by Users must be complete, current, and accurate. Impersonation, use of false identities, or misrepresentation of affiliation is strictly prohibited. The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain misleading or fraudulent information.
The Age of Wonders 4 community is built upon respect, fair play, and cooperation. By accessing the platform, you agree to abide by the following behavioral standards:
Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary measures including warnings, temporary restrictions, suspension, or permanent account termination. The Developer reserves sole discretion in determining the severity of enforcement based on the gravity and recurrence of the offense.
All assets related to Age of Wonders 4 — including characters, lore, storylines, designs, mechanics, software, artwork, audio, video, and trademarks — are the exclusive property of the Developer and/or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or commercial exploitation of these assets is prohibited.
Users may create and share derivative works (“Fan Content”), provided such works are non-commercial, clearly labeled as unofficial, and do not mislead others into believing they are endorsed by the Developer. Fan Content must not infringe upon the rights of third parties or bring disrepute to the platform.
By submitting feedback, creative suggestions, or any content to the Developer, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, adapt, publish, distribute, and modify such content without obligation of compensation.
The platform may provide access to premium content, expansions, cosmetic items, or virtual currency purchasable with real-world money or in-game currency. Unless expressly required by law, all transactions are final and non-refundable.
Virtual items carry no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed outside the platform. The Developer reserves the right to adjust, alter, or discontinue items, currencies, or pricing models at any time without liability.
Fraudulent use of payment methods, chargebacks, or other unauthorized transactions will result in immediate account suspension and may be subject to investigation and legal proceedings.
The Age of Wonders 4 platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the correction of defects.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or profits.
Certain jurisdictions may not allow limitations on liability or disclaimers of implied warranties. In such cases, the Developer’s liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The Developer may, at its sole discretion, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the platform with or without prior notice if you breach these Terms, violate applicable laws, or otherwise compromise the integrity of the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases.
Termination does not release you from obligations accrued prior to such action, including payment obligations or liabilities arising from violations. The Developer reserves the right to preserve data for investigation or compliance with legal requirements.
We reserve the right to modify, revise, or update these Terms at any time. Notice of significant changes will be provided through in-game notifications, website announcements, or direct communication such as email. Minor adjustments may be applied without formal notice.
Your continued use of the platform following such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are encouraged to review this document periodically to remain informed of their obligations and rights.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively within the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
Prior to initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt amicable resolution through good-faith negotiation or mediation. If such efforts fail, claims must be pursued through the designated legal channels.
In some regions, mandatory consumer protection rights or dispute resolution procedures may apply, and these Terms will be interpreted accordingly to remain compliant.
